Ah, fall! The season of cozy sweaters, pumpkin spice everything, and, of course, hot cider. But while you’re sipping on that steamy cup of deliciousness, let’s talk about what’s really hot in wellness this season. Spoiler alert: it’s not just about apple-flavored goodness—though that’s definitely a bonus. 😉

Whether you’re navigating the cooler temps, fending off seasonal sniffles, or just trying to keep your energy levels up as the days get shorter, these wellness trends are on fire 🔥 this fall.

1. Adaptogens Are Your New Best Friend 🍄

No, this isn’t a new Hogwarts house. Adaptogens are herbs and mushrooms that help your body adapt to stress (because, let’s be real, who isn’t stressed these days?). Ashwagandha, Rhodiola, and Reishi are making waves in the wellness world for their ability to balance hormones, reduce anxiety, and even boost immunity. So, whether it’s a supplement, in your smoothie, your tea, or yes, even your hot cider, adaptogens are a must-try for fall. 🍵✨ My never miss adaptogen is Amare's Mood+ for adults or Kids Mood+ pixie sticks for your littles! Mood+ has been a total game changer in our house!

2. Pumpkin Spice Protein Shakes? Sign Me Up! 🎃💪

Why should pumpkin spice lattes have all the fun? This fall, swap out your regular protein shake for a pumpkin spice-flavored one. It’s the perfect way to get those fall vibes and fuel your body with essential nutrients. Plus, it’s much more waistline-friendly than that sugary PSL. Here's is my favorite PSL post-workout treat that’s totally Instagram-worthy minus all the sugar. #PumpkinSpiceAndGains

Pumpkin Spice Protein Shake 🎃🥤

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop Amare Vanilla Fit 20 Protein

  • 1/2 cup pure pumpkin puree (unsweetened)

  • 1/2 frozen banana (for creaminess)

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)

  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice (or a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger)

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp maple syrup or honey (optional, for sweetness)

  • A handful of ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender.

  2. Blend on high until smooth and creamy. Add more almond milk if you prefer a thinner consistency.

  3. Taste and adjust sweetness or spice as needed.

  4. Pour into a glass and sprinkle a little extra pumpkin pie spice on top for garnish. 🎃✨

  5. Enjoy your delicious fall-inspired, protein-packed shake!

3. Fall Fitness: It’s Not Just About Running Through Leaves 🍁👟

Sweater weather might be here, but that doesn’t mean you should be hibernating! One of the hottest trends this fall? Outdoor workouts. As the temperatures drop, exercising outdoors becomes more appealing (hello, no more summer sweat-fests!). Hiking, trail running, or even just brisk walks in the crisp air can boost your mood and metabolism. Throw in a few strength training sessions, and you’re golden. 💪🏞️. You know me by now, I encourage all my clients to do 3, 30 minute strength training sessions for hormone balance, weight release / body composition, and muscle gain for longevity.

4. Immune-Boosting Elixirs 🧪🍋

Flu season is lurking around the corner, but this year, we’re all about boosting immunity before the bugs catch up with us. Enter: immune-boosting elixirs. Think ginger shots, elderberry syrup, and turmeric lattes. They’re packed with vitamins and antioxidants to keep your immune system in top shape. Plus, sipping on a hot ginger-turmeric cider is pretty much the fall equivalent of self-care, right? 😉 One of my favorite supplements is Amare's MentaSync that primes your immune system to be at its best all season long!

5. Cozy Vibes Meet Mindful Meditation 🧘‍♀️🕯️

Fall is the perfect time to slow down and chill. But let’s make sure we’re chilling mindfully. One hot wellness trend this fall is combining cozy with meditation—think candlelit meditation sessions, using weighted blankets during your practice, or simply meditating outside as the leaves fall. This mix of mental wellness and seasonal vibes is a game-changer for reducing stress and boosting your mental clarity. 🧠🍂

6. Hormone Balancing Through Seasonal Eating 🍽️🥦

Our hormones love a good seasonal reset, and fall foods are perfect for balancing things out. Root vegetables like sweet potatoes, squashes, and carrots are full of vitamins and minerals that help regulate hormones and stabilize blood sugar levels. Not to mention, they make for delicious comfort foods. 😋 And don’t forget to sprinkle some flaxseeds or chia seeds on that fall salad—they help keep estrogen levels in check. Last but not least, increase your protein intake to 100 grams a day and decrease your carb intake to leassthan 100 grams per day. Hormones, consider yourselves balanced! Visceral fat be gone!

So, as you settle into your coziest blanket and sip on that hot cider, remember: fall is the perfect season to fall into wellness (pun totally intended 😏). With these wellness trends, you’ll be feeling your best all autumn long. 🍁✨
